What is the Stress-Free Guarantee?

Your well-being starts with letting go of your worries. Our Stress-Free Guarantee is designed so you can maximize your wellness journey without adding any more stress to your life – no exceptions, no expiration dates. If you’re not happy with your purchase for any reason, we’ll do everything we can to make it right.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be as happy with the self-care products you purchased from Here I Am as we were when we first discovered them. That's why our Stress-Free Guarantee covers free returns, exchanges, and replacements.

  • Get a refund within 30 days of purchase, or within 60 days if your purchase was made during November and December (we know how holiday shopping can get).
  • Get free replacements, exchanges, or returns for store credit with no expiration date after purchase.
  • No explanations are necessary! Your well-being is our priority, guaranteed.

What are your shipping options?

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we offer free ground shipping. We do this because ground shipping has a significantly smaller carbon impact than shipping by air. But if you must have your order fast, we offer that too.  

  • Free UPS Ground Saver/USPS Ground Advantage shipping to US addresses. Estimated delivery is 7-9 days, but sometimes it doesn't take that long.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air (2 business days) and UPS Next Day Air Saver (1 business day). Costs for these services will be calculated at checkout based on the carriers' rate plus a $10 handling fee.

International Shipping:

  • During checkout, the shipping carrier will calculate the rate based on the weight and dimensions of your order and your shipping address.

When will I receive my order?

Orders in general ship within 1 business day of purchase. You can expect to receive your order based on the shipping option selected:

  • For Ground shipping: one day to prep the order plus 7-8 days for shipping.
  • For UPS 2nd Day Air: one day for prep plus 2 business days for shipping.
  • For UPS Next Day Air Saver: one day for prep plus 1 business day for shipping.
  • For international deliveries, orders will take anywhere from 3-14 days.

What do I do if I never received my order?

That's a bummer! Send us a note at info@hereiambox.com with details of your order and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What do I do if I received the wrong order or something is not right?

We hate to see that happen, but we will do everything we can to make it right! Send a note to info@hereiambox.com with details of your order and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?

If you have an account with us and the order is not yet in process, you can log in to your account and either cancel the order or make the necessary changes. If the order is already in process or you didn't create an account, send a note to info@hereiambox.com with your details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where are you located?

We are located at the edge of the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Long Beach, California. In addition to our online shop, our products can be found in the Fair Trade Long Beach shop on 4105 N Bellflower Blvd Unit B, Long Beach, CA.

How can I find out more about the brands?

We cherish the brands we collaborate with and aim to share their stories with you. Every item available in our shop includes details about the brand behind it on the product details page.

Are all of the products you sell made by Women-Owned businesses?

Yes, most of the businesses we work with are women-owned and very small businesses, often making their products by hand or in small batches close to where they live.  We look for makers who operate their businesses by prioritizing ethical and sustainable craftsmanship.

Are all of the products made in the US?

Almost all of the products in our shop are made in the United States. We do have a few brand partners who collaborate with artisans in other countries, and these partners are personally acquainted with them to ensure they adhere to ethical practices. We do not work with anyone who imports mass-produced products from abroad.

Are all of the products either fair trade or responsibly sourced?

We carefully vet every brand to ensure they meet our responsible sourcing standards, even if they aren’t formally fair trade certified. While not all partners carry official certifications (which can be cost-prohibitive for smaller ethical brands), we require:

✔ Clear understanding of their ingredients
✔ Safe and ethical working conditions
✔ Cruelty-free practices

Are the ingredients organic or vegan?

We carefully select products that are good for you and the planet, prioritizing:

  • Plant-based or vegan formulas (when applicable)
  • Organic, sustainably harvested, or non-toxic ingredients
  • Eco-conscious packaging and sourcing

While not every item is certified organic or 100% vegan, each meets at least one of our rigorous wellness and sustainability criteria. You can filter for these options in your search:

  • "Organic Focus" (contains certified organic ingredients)
  • "Vegan Friendly" (free from animal-derived ingredients)
  • "Clean Chemistry" (non-toxic, science-backed formulas)

Is the product packaging recyclable, biodegradable, or reusable?

Reducing plastic waste is core to our mission. While we can’t yet guarantee every component is zero-waste (as some brands are still transitioning), here’s how we’re driving change:

Our Standards:

  • We prioritize brands using compostable, recyclable, or reusable packaging.
  • We request plastic-free shipping materials for all products sent to us. All plastic shipping materials are recycled.
  • We ship your orders in 100% compostable or recyclable materials.

Transparency Note:

Some product containers (like pumps or caps) may contain minimal recycled plastic if no viable alternative exists. We push brands to innovate and update these as solutions become available.

Are the products made using clean production processes?

Yes! We exclusively partner with small-batch makers who prioritize people and planet over mass production. Every brand in our collection must meet these standards:

Small-Scale Craftsmanship

  • Handmade or small-batch production to minimize energy waste
  • Avoids the high-pollution practices of industrial manufacturing

Cleaner Operations

  • Uses renewable energy or carbon-neutral processes where possible
  • Implements waste-reduction systems (water recycling, upcycled materials)

Transparency First

While not all makers have formal certifications (common for small businesses), we:

  • Vet their production methods firsthand
  • Prioritize brands that share their sustainability journey openly
