Our current economic and political systems put women, especially women of color, at a disadvantage. Though a relaxing bath and good face cream may feel nice in the moment, they don't address the systemic problems that keep us from thriving.

While you can't escape the hard work of true self-care, you can get help relaxing and pampering yourself along the way. Our products are designed to make you feel good because when you feel good, you can change how you see yourself.

That is why we only select products that are good for you and good for the planet. Every product we offer satisfies our expectations in the following areas:

  1. Sustainable Sourcing: Are the ingredients sustainably sourced, organic, and good for you? We select for plant-based, organic, and non-toxic ingredients. 
  2. Eco-Friendly Packaging: Is the product packaging recyclable, biodegradable, or reusable? We request that our brands use zero-waste packaging and shipping materials when possible, and we send our products to you in zero-waste boxes. 
  3. Clean Production Processes: Does the company use clean production processes? We only work with businesses that make products in small batches, avoiding the pollution created by large manufacturing processes. 
  4. Proximity to Sources: Where is the product made, and what source materials are required? We look for businesses making their products in or near their primary location and sourcing from businesses within the USA, reducing the emissions from overseas shipping.
  5. Product Lifecycle: Are the products designed to be long-lasting? What does their end-of-life disposal require? We look for products that can be reused, composted, or recycled.

Zero-Waste Shipping

Our Zero Waste Packaging program aims to minimize waste in our packaging and shipping processes.

We are proud to partner with Boox, a company committed to eliminating single-use waste and promoting a Circular Economy.

The box is made of lightweight corrugated polypropylene, which is extremely durable, waterproof, tearproof, and thermoplastic and can be reused many times. Boox can also efficiently recycle the returned Booxes into the same high-quality material to make more Booxes! Returning them is easy with a network of drop-off locations. This circular process significantly reduces the environmental impact compared to single-use packaging.

To encourage more sustainable shipping practices, we provide free ground shipping within the USA.

In 2022, Renee and Robert co-founded Here I Am as a purpose driven online retail business. We are shaping the future of responsible commerce and redefining corporate purpose. Our legacy will be one of sustainability, inclusivity, and positive social and economic change.

Renee Trepagnier, Co-Founder and CEO

Renee believes that people are stronger together. She enjoys connecting people who are just starting out with others who can help them. She cares deeply about social justice and environmentalism and never misses a chance to practice a little self-care.  

Previously, Renee worked as an executive in technology startups.

Robert Dugan, Co-Founder and President

Robert is a champion of underserved communities and people. He always stands up to a bully. He seeks to generate change and happiness through deploying empathy, humility, and passion.

Previously, Robert worked as a sales leader in healthcare technology.
