Why We Exist

Women face impossible expectations: staying on top of work, raising a family, handling the household chores, and never aging beyond 29.

It's common in midlife for a woman (like our founder, Renee) to face divorce, a stalled career, and menopause, often while caring for children and aging parents.

We accept burnout as a state of mind. Self-care became a list of tasks to squeeze in if and when there was time.

Here I Am was created because the spectrum of self-care had become either another beauty product that would solve all our problems or a luxury that is out of reach for most of us.

We believe self-care is not an indulgence. It is a necessity. Our care is a responsibility. Only when we care for ourselves can we truly care for others.

In 2022, Renee and Robert co-founded Here I Am as a purpose driven online retail business. We are shaping the future of responsible commerce and redefining corporate purpose. Our legacy will be one of sustainability, inclusivity, and positive social and economic change.
