Every item comes from a woman-owned small business. That's where we start. Then we dig deeper:

Does it work? We test every product ourselves. If it doesn't make us feel good, peaceful, or sleepy, it doesn't go in the box.

Are the ingredients transparent and non-toxic? We research every ingredient for what it does and why it is included. We automatically refuse anything categorized as parabens, phthalates, PFAS, sulfates, synthetic dyes, and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. If it isn't safe for our family, you can't buy it here.  

Does it foster a connection? Self-care has a ripple effect, so we curate gifts that facilitate real human connection. If it claims to fix a fake problem, we don't want it.

Is there impact beyond the transaction? We base our choices on more than just the product. If the business does not prioritize ethical sourcing, fair labor, and environmental responsibility, then the product isn't worth it. 

It's not easy to get in our boxes. But when we find something that clears those bars, it becomes part of a bigger purpose: connecting people through thoughtful gifts that support both the women who receive them and the women who create them.
